Microsoft 365 Is Required for This Assignment
Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) is the latest version of Excel, which you must use to complete this assignment. Microsoft 365 require a Windows or Mac computer and cannot be run on a Chromebook.
You cannot use Excel for the Web, which runs in your web browser to complete this assignment as many key features are not available on that platform, plus the menus are structured differently.

This assignment does require Microsoft 365. That is the desktop version of Excel to confirm if you have the right version of Excel. Step one, you'll get the File menu. Step two, you'll choose Account, step three, you want to see the words Microsoft 365 on the Account screen. If you do not, if you see a different Excel version or if you don't have an Account command, then that means you're not using the correct version of Excel and you're entitled to a free copy of Microsoft 365. If you go to Microsoft 365 dot com, log in with your university email and password, you can download and install the newest version of Microsoft 365 which includes the newest version of Excel, which is what you need for this assignment.
