Step 09 of 40: Center/Border/Underline Text
This step illustrates how to format text in cells using the Center, Bold and Underline commands to differentiate it from other text. This is useful for creating column titles.
In Step 9, begin by selecting cells A2:C2 and then choose Home | Center, Home | Bold, and Home | Underline. The text in cells A2:C2 should now be centered, bolded, and underlined.
Apply steps 1-5 to cells E2:G2.
Apply steps 1-5 to cells I2:K2.
Steps labeled YOUR TURN are reinforcing steps that present opportunities to apply concepts covered earlier in the assignment.
